The party of four from Shin Chien University, Taiwan, including President Michael J. K. Chen, visited President Arakawa on Tuesday 3 April 2018.
（Prior to their visit, a signing ceremony for an academic agreement by both presidents took place at Shin Chien University on 27 February 2018. Please read the article on 5 March for the details.）

After arrival at the Sugimoto campus of Osaka City University (OCU) the party walked the campus with beautiful cherry blossoms talking and went up to Media Center to enjoy views of Abeno Harukas, OCU Abeno Campus, and etc.

After the campus tour they visited the president’s office to meet with President Arakawa, Vice Presidents Sakuragi and Odanaka and introduced the Student Ambassador Program, a program students themselves introduce their activities, etc. as a representative of the university. Shin Chien University is well known for its success in adopting it. Various views were exchanged and they confirmed further exchanges of activities in the future.

OCU will continue to contribute to friendly relations between Osaka and Taiwan from the academic and cultural viewpoints.
